Pacific Drive is a first-person run-based driving survival game developed by Ironwood Studios, released in February 2024. Set in a fictionalized Pacific Northwest exclusion zone, the game casts players as a driver bonded with a mysterious station wagon. Each run involves venturing into the zone to gather resources, complete objectives, and return to a garage hub alive. The station wagon is the central mechanic. It can be repaired, modified, and upgraded with parts affecting durability, speed, storage, and special functions. Panels can be replaced individually, tires wear down, and the electrical system develops quirks. The car develops a personality through anomalous properties. The zone is procedurally arranged for each run, with radiation storms, gravity anomalies, aggressive wildlife, and spatial distortions. Resources gathered feed back into the garage's crafting stations. A narrative thread unfolds through radio transmissions and environmental storytelling.

Prioritize upgrading your battery and alternator first. Many car modifications draw power, and running out of electricity leaves you without headlights and the map display. Gather resources broadly rather than focusing on a single material. Crafting recipes require a mix of materials.

Trainer Tips

The RG trainer includes infinite car health, unlimited fuel, no panel degradation, and unlimited crafting materials. The trainer does not prevent environmental hazards from affecting the player character directly. Radiation and anomaly damage still apply on foot, so caution is needed when exiting the vehicle.

Q: Is the game roguelike? A: Run-based structure, but progress carries over through garage upgrades. Q: Can I lose my car permanently? A: No. If destroyed, you return to the garage and rebuild.
