Running an RTX 4070 Super and during long sessions of Cities Skylines 2 or Cyberpunk my GPU temps hit 83-85C. Card is only 6 months old. Is this normal or should I be worried? Case is a Meshify C with 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust.
That's within spec for a 4070 Super under heavy load. Nvidia cards thermal throttle at 83C by default but the 40 series boosted that limit. You're fine.
85C is on the higher end but not dangerous. If you want to bring it down try adjusting the fan curve in MSI Afterburner. A more aggressive curve at 75C+ usually knocks off 5-8 degrees.
Also check if your case fans are actually pulling air in the right direction. I had mine backwards for 6 months without realising and my GPU was cooking.
