Steam Summer Sale predictions 2026

Summer sale should be coming up in a couple of months. What are people hoping goes on sale? I have got a wishlist about a mile long but my wallet is not going to survive if everything drops at once. Any predictions on the big discounts this year?

Resident Evil 4 remake should get a decent cut by now. Same with Starfield, I reckon that will be heavily discounted to try and pull people back in. My advice is set a budget before the sale starts because it is way too easy to go mental.

I am hoping for a good deal on some of the newer releases. The older stuff always gets solid discounts. Pro tip - check the wiki here before buying anything because some games work better with trainers than others and it is worth knowing that upfront.
