This is true in the Esports world, it is an industry that has had to play some sort of its largest and best remarkable tournaments behind closed playgrounds over the last 12 months. In other words Esports gaming flourish during COVID-19 pandemic.
Some blessings of COVID-19 Esports and online gaming have thrived during the pandemic as people turn to video games as a source of entertainment and connection. Game companies hit record sales by video games in last year even worst economical environment.

During the pandemic, more people were asked to work from home while many were laid off at work. So, playing games and following virtual games on eSports became the hope of some of those people. Covid era made more people find games to play.

Covid era made me try some games I wouldn't on a normal. At least 2 among the games I tried during covid19 are games I still play till now.
