Enshrouded is a survival action RPG developed by Keen Games, released in early access in January 2024. Set in Embervale, the game takes place on a voxel-based continent consumed by a deadly fog called the Shroud. Players are the Flameborn, beings who can briefly survive within the Shroud to explore ruins and gather resources.
The game blends survival crafting with action RPG combat and class-based progression. A skill tree allows specialization in melee, ranged, or magic, with hybrid builds viable. Combat features dodge rolls, parries, and various weapon types. Enemy variety ranges from basic Shroud creatures to elite bosses.
Base building uses the voxel terrain system. Rescued NPCs serve as crafting specialists. The Shroud functions as both hazard and exploration incentive, with a timer that drains health when expired. The game supports up to 16 players cooperatively.
Prioritize rescuing the Blacksmith and Alchemist NPCs early for essential crafting recipes. When exploring the Shroud, always watch your timer. Craft Shroud Survival Flasks to extend it during critical runs.
For combat, the Ranger tree provides the best early-game versatility. Bows are effective at all stages. Base placement matters: build near fast-travel points and Shroud areas you plan to explore.
Trainer Tips
The RG trainer includes infinite health, infinite stamina, unlimited resources, and extended Shroud timer. The Shroud timer extension is the most popular feature.
The unlimited resources cheat applies to gathered materials. You still need to unlock recipes through NPC rescue.
