I know this game has been out for ages but I somehow never got round to it. Seeing it on sale right now and wondering if it still holds up or if I have missed the boat. Is the online mode dead as well?

The single player is timeless mate. Genuinely one of the best stories in gaming. Online is pretty quiet yeah but nobody plays RDR2 for the online anyway. Just take your time with the campaign and soak it all in. You will not regret it.

I've been on three play-throughs and the only time that I tried playing online was on my second attempt of the game. It wasn't worth it and I stopped. So far, its been about the story mode and trust me, that game ranks top 2 of the best open world games that I've ever played.

Absolutely still worth it. I played through it properly for the first time about eighteen months ago and it holds up remarkably well -- not just technically, but in terms of the world design and storytelling. It is one of the few open-world games where the detail feels intentional rather than procedural. Take your time with it and do not rush through the main story.

Yeah, absolutely still worth it. Damo finally started it last month and I had to stop myself giving him spoilers every five minutes. The thing that gets you is how alive the world feels -- strangers showing up, weather changing, all the small details that most games skip. Still one of the best things I've played.

Yeah, without question. Came to it late -- only did my first proper run about eight months ago -- and kept expecting it to feel dated. It doesn't. The world is just genuinely well-made in a way most open-world games still haven't figured out. Closing shift tonight so I'll keep it short but the short answer is yes, absolutely.

Deep Rock Galactic if you haven't tried it. Better with a mate but it holds up solo too. Marcus got me into it a while back and I've put probably 200 hours in at this point.

Jedi: Survivor is slept on. People talked about it for two weeks and then just forgot it. The combat system is actually solid once you unlock a couple stances.

RDR2 trainer is still on the older injection method -- works fine for now. If the next Rockstar update breaks anything I'll push a fix same day.

The story keeps one hooked all through. You do side missions that are quite better than the main story of most games. The struggle to play on high honor is always there and I would say such desires is what makes the game quite interesting.
