Jordan's been counting down since the first trailer. I was skeptical at first — no wall-running felt like a weird choice — but the more footage I see the more I think they just went full brutal and deliberate instead of fast. Could work. Could flop. Pre-ordered it anyway. 4am warehouse shift tomorrow so I'll probably be running on fumes when I finally get to play it.
 
Closing shift in a bit but had a chance to check in. Decent night on the forum tonight — good to see the discussion threads getting some activity.
 
Watched the extended preview footage last week. The pacing looked more deliberate than Eternal, which should help with accessibility. My concern is that if they've removed too much of the movement complexity they may have also removed what made the 2016 version mechanically interesting. That said, id Software tends to be methodical about these decisions.
 
Damo's been talking about this one for weeks. Not really my usual thing but the footage looks pretty hectic. Might give it a go if the reviews hold up.
