9 million downloads: Let It Die

Every year, I see a lot of gaming forums stating that Let It Die has crossed 9 million downloads. Some forums have started making this claim from 2017 and I also saw a lot of reddit users enjoying it even very recently saying that it has crossed 9 million downloads.

The good things in the game apart, do you think it has reached 9 million downloads? I think its a little too exaggerated a claim to make as it was exclusively available it Play Station platform and only later diversified.

What are your thoughts?

It was a good game that I had a nice time playing, but I believe that the talk that it has that number of downloads is too much to say as it looks like an exaggerated figure.

I am of that same opinion too.

Why do you think its exaggerated? I think so because not many people I meet has really played this game even from the gaming community. If 9 million people has uniquely downloaded the game, then it is absolutely likely that someone from my gaming circle, at least in various other forums knows about the game.

That has not happened, so the claim seems very dubious to me.
