When I play multiplayer games like FIFA or eFootball, some of my opponents usually get so aggressive especially when I'm winning. You'll see them shout and complain all through the game, even when it is obvious they are the ones not playing well 😃
Are you sometimes like that? Do you become aggressive when you are losing a game?

I wouldn't call "aggressive", just competitive enough trying not to lose a game.. but now i tend to just don't care, i play ranked games all the time like chess were you share a rating and stuff. Somehow you just get used to the feeling.

Everything depends on the kind of game I am playing that's going to determine how aggressive or competitive I will be against my opponents. Football video games makes me very competitive.

I don't become aggressive while playing against others, but when I am on losing streak, I become very frustrated.

I stay calm when playing multiplayer games. I wouldn't want to act aggressively or flare up at the slightest provocation. It doesn't even make any sense to me at all to be behaving like that.

Not really. I stay competitive but try to keep it controlled. For example, when playing multiplayer games, I focus on strategy and staying calm, because getting aggressive usually makes me make mistakes and ruins the fun.

If everyone can be able to control how they behave when playing online games, then things would get better in the end. However, all we see are players who become furious when things are not going the way they wanted them to go.

Sometimes I feel a surge of competitiveness, but I try not to let it turn into aggression.

I view gaming as a fun and pastime activity, so I cannot allow it to have such effect on my actions. In fact I enjoy it more when I play with others whether I am on the losing or winning side.

More like being competitive. I enjoyed it better that way then trying to be aggressive. I don't see the fun doing that

I don't become aggressive when I'm losing. I just feel sad or frustrated instead. Some people do get aggressive because they are very competitive and hate losing.

I agree that self-control would improve online gaming experiences. I’ve noticed anger often stems from competitiveness or anonymity, and promoting sportsmanship, clear rules, and cooldown periods can help players manage frustration and maintain positive interactions.

Having clear rules is very important when it comes to online gaming. I think that is what is going to make everyone involved to respect themselves when playing online games.
