Do you regularly watch news debates?

I, for one, make it a point to listen to news debates almost everyday and in all my free time. Infact, two of my hobbies are listening to news debates and reading books. I do this so that I can always be updated about what is happening around me and also how different groups/parties perceive these issues and what points of discussion they bring to the table.

I wouldn't say that I listen to news debates regularly. I do listen to some news debates if I have a strong interest in what is being debated, but for the most part, any others I just catch up on them.

I watch only when the person in the debate is someone I admire or want to listen to.

In the past when I used to write political commentary and finance articles for newspapers, I used to watch news debate on TV. Once I stopped writing for newspaper, I also stopped watching these debates.
