Rust, The Forest, and DayZ challenge players to survive against nature and other players. Do you think survival games teach real strategy, or are they just stressful grind-fests? What’s your favorite survival game, why is it favorite?

I think survival games teach real life skills. But the main question is how the individuals will test their skills in the rel world environment that they originally mastered in virtual environment

I agree that survival games teach useful skills like planning, resource management, and decision-making. I’ve noticed that while real-world testing isn’t always possible, these games can still improve problem-solving and adaptability, which translate indirectly to handling challenges in everyday life.

Survival games can teach real strategy if you focus on resource management, planning, and adapting to challenges, though some feel like stressful grind-fests.

Agreed, however, the main question is can you actually use the lessons in real life situation. In the virtual world, we have nothing to lose, so we take higher risk, however, in the real world we lose real tangible things, so we might not take higher risks.
