Horror is a broad category in game industry. There are a lot of niches under horror games. The gameplay differs according to the genres. For instance in Survival horror you have to focus on resource management and combat against threats, where as in action horror you have to combat with terrifying enemies. Some other popular horror genres are psychological horror, where atmosphere and mind-bending themes to induce fear and in stealth horror you hide and evading enemies. There are also a lot of other horror genres. What is your favorite?

I enjoy psychological horror games the most. These games focus on tension, atmosphere, and suspense rather than just jump scares, which makes the experience more immersive and keeps me on edge throughout.

Psychological horror games can be quite interesting, but you need a strong mind to be able to enjoy the experience of playing them. What are the good psychological horror games that you've ever played?

I usually go for survival horror and story-driven ones. Games like Dying Light and Resident Evil keep me hooked with their mix of tension, exploration, and resource management. I also enjoy indie psychological horror, though those can get under my skin the most.

I’ve enjoyed games like Silent Hill 2, Layers of Fear, and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. They focus on atmosphere, story, and mind-bending scares rather than just jump scares, which makes the psychological horror really gripping.

I usually play indie psychological horror for the story and atmosphere. Games like Layers of Fear and Oxenfree really keep me on edge while making me think. I enjoy the tension and trying to figure out the mysteries more than the jump scares.

I play a mix of all the horror games, but I lean more towards the psychological horror games. It seems very different to me. The games that mess with your head stick with you for a long time even after you’ve stopped playing it.

I like psychological horror games because such kind of games are related to psychological horror. They are quite thrilling game with an intriguing storyline.
