Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second installment in the Final Fantasy VII remake project, developed and published by Square Enix. Originally released on PlayStation 5 in February 2024 with a PC release following later, it continues the story of Cloud Strife and his allies after the events of the Midgar escape. The game takes place across an expansive open world, covering the journey from Kalm to the Forgotten Capital, with each region offering distinct environments, side content, and story beats.
The combat system builds upon FF7 Remake's hybrid real-time and command-based approach. Players control a party of characters, each with unique fighting styles and abilities. For exploration, activate every Remnawave tower you find. These reveal nearby points of interest on the map. Chocobo customization matters more than it might seem, as certain traversal abilities are locked behind specific Chocobo types found in each region.
Queen's Blood is worth learning properly. The card game rewards include some of the best materia and accessories in the game. Do not skip Odd Jobs, as several gate access to later content or provide permanent stat upgrades.
