Nightingale Guide & Tips
Nightingale is a shared-world survival crafting game developed by Inflexion Games, released in early access in February 2024. Set in a Victorian gaslamp fantasy, the game takes place across the Faewilds, pocket realms accessible through magical portals. Players are Realmwalkers trying to reach the city of Nightingale.
The Realm Card system is the defining mechanic. Players craft and use cards at portals to generate realms with specific biome types, difficulty levels, and modifiers. Major Cards determine the biome, while Minor Cards apply gameplay modifiers.
Crafting and base building progress through Realm tiers. Combat features melee weapons, firearms, and magic. Victorian-era weapons blend with fantastical elements. Apex creatures guard valuable resources in each realm.
Start by establishing a solid base in a Tier 1 forest realm. Food and water management is critical early on. Learn the Realm Card system thoroughly, as some resources only appear in certain card combinations.
Firearms are generally more effective than melee for most encounters. Craft a hunting rifle as soon as possible. Cooperative play makes higher-tier realms much more manageable.
Trainer Tips
The RG trainer supports infinite health, infinite stamina, no hunger/thirst, and unlimited crafting materials. The no hunger/thirst option is popular for extended building sessions.
The trainer works in both solo and shared sessions, affecting only the local player.
