Playing games on PC can be done in many ways. It is either you make use of the mouse with the help of the keyboard or you go for a gaming controller. When it comes to enjoying playing games on a PC, is using a controller the best option for you?

Depends entirely on the game for me. Rust and anything competitive — keyboard and mouse, no question. But for slower stuff like Valheim or Sons of the Forest I'll grab the controller. Just feels more relaxed, especially late arvo when I'm not trying to sweat. Damo thinks it's heresy but he plays everything on KB+M including platformers so I don't take his opinions on this seriously.

Keyboard and mouse for everything. I've used a wired mechanical keyboard for about a decade and I genuinely cannot tell when the switches need replacing because I refuse to think about it. The short version is that modern games are increasingly designed around a controller first, and you can feel it in the UI and the default button bindings. Some of it has gotten worse. That said, Dark Souls on a mouse is an experience I would not recommend to anyone.
