Closed the store tonight and came home to 47 games on my Steam wishlist and a backlog that hasn't moved in two months.

Picked up Palworld back when it blew up and barely touched it. Derek keeps saying I should just delete the games I haven't started but that feels wrong. Anyone else just accept at some point that the backlog is more of a collection than a to-do list?

Bought Skyrim again on sale last month. Already own it on two other platforms. Not sure what I was thinking but here we are.

Frankly I've given up trying to clear mine. I've had Divinity: Original Sin 2 sitting untouched since 2019. At this point I think I'm keeping it as a monument to optimism. I will play it eventually. Possibly when Ellie goes to university.

My backlog is completely unsalvageable. Still have Cyberpunk sitting untouched, Jedi: Survivor, a couple others I picked up on sale and never opened. Elden Ring keeps pulling me back every time I think I'm done with it. Jordan's in the same situation so we just don't talk about it.
