Do You Think Twitch Is Still the King In Game Streaming?

With YouTube Gaming and Kick competing, Twitch isn’t alone anymore. Do you still watch streams on Twitch, or are newer platforms taking over? Do you have any favorite streamer, what do you like about their content?

Even through Twitch was basically created for game streaming, over the years it has also allowed other types of content. Youtube on the other hand was basically for general content has become one of the most used platforms for streaming. I don't think Twitch is the king anymore.

While Twitch is still strong for gaming, YouTube’s versatility and massive audience make it a bigger overall streaming platform. I’ve noticed creators reach wider audiences on YouTube, blending gaming, tutorials, and entertainment more easily than on Twitch.

So far it is the number one worldwide, no other platform even comes close. The top streamers are really making it big too.

Twitch still has an average viewership around 2.4 million CCV. This is roughly the same viewership Twitch had in 2020 so viewership is still active
