What kind of games do you mostly play, free to play or premium games? What free to play games are your favorite? Do you think free to play games are as good as the premium ones? How do you deal with ads or micro-transactions in free to play games?

I play both types of games. The focus is on discovering the games which are worth my time and having a very good time playing those games whether I paid for it or not.

That's very true. It does not matter whether the game is free or paid, what ultimately matters is your experience. However, due to ads and micro transactions, sometime free to play games can be boring.

I play free-to-play games more often. For example, I enjoy PUBG and Fortnite, which are free but offer optional purchases. They let me enjoy the game without spending money, though I sometimes consider buying cosmetic items or upgrades.

I understand, a lot of people play free to play games, however, most of the free to play games have micro transactions and the players of these free to play games end up spending more money in micro transactions compared to people who play premium games

I have found that I tend to play a lot more free-to-play games now than premium games. I do still play premium games, but only if I was able to purchase that game in a sale and it is a game I know I will enjoy playing.

Playing some free-to-play games could come with zero pressure and that is the part that I like most. You are not playing just to get more benefits from playing, but just for the sake of having fun.

I prefer free-to-play games over pay-to-play games partly because you don't have to commit. With a free-to-play game, you can just stop playing if you don't like it. With a pay-to-play game, your choices are to quit entirely or refund the game (unless you've played more than 2 hours, or it isn't on Steam)...

Yeah, people have their own opinions, but I personally think free-to-play games are better in that regard.
