Okay, so who else is completely hyped for GTA VI? The trailers have been insane, and I've been watching all the breakdowns on YouTube. It's awesome that we're going back to Vice City, and Lucia and Jason look like they're going to be a wild duo.

What's getting you most excited? For me, it's the new map. It just looks massive and so alive. I'm also really curious to see how the two characters' stories intertwine and if we can switch between them like in GTA V.

Any rumors you're following? Or are you just trying to avoid all the spoilers until the game drops? Let me know what you think and let's get the conversation going!

Honestly, I am not very excited mainly because the excitement has completely died down due to the inordinate delay this entire process has resulted in.

When the release is timely, it was reasonable, but now my heart has gone cold.

However, I must say that by the looks of it, the graphics and entire screenplay seems to be better than the part versions.

I think the game looks nice, but GTA VI will have come out thirteen years after GTA V. Also, in my case, I'm almost certainly (assuming I buy the game) going to download RAGE Plugin Hook and go to town on how they managed to script the missions and stuff.

I may even use that as an excuse to write GTA VI mods for myself! But at this point, it's cart before the horse, since I don't know how long I have to wait at all before GTA VI comes out. At the very least, I can still play GTA V. Story Mode is just as good as ever, even though GTA: Online is about as enjoyable as eating a cactus.

This delay was what I was speaking about in my post.

People have made so many plans to ensure that they are ready for one of the most awaited game in the history, but unfortunately, so many delays have happened that too many gamers have moved on.

Haha, thirteen years is basically two console generations and a small eternity in gaming time.

Modding it sounds cool though, especially digging into how Rockstar scripts their missions. Who knows by the time GTA VI drops, you might have a whole toolkit ready to go 😉

And I’m with you on Story Mode it’s aged like fine wine. GTA Online… well, let’s just say I admire your cactus eating analogy for its accuracy 😆 🤣

Depends on how quick I can check the GTA VI tag on GitHub. RAGE Plugin Hook took two years to develop after GTA V was released and came out in 2015. Who knows? We may have to wait until 2028 before we can actually mod the game, though maybe the greater Internet community will reverse-engineer it long before that.

(By personal experience: If you look up GTA V reverse engineering, there are websites that reverse engineered the entire .exe file and made trainers with Cheat Engine on the first day the PC game was released in 2015. I'd expect nothing else when GTA VI drops.)
