Discussion Physical copies vs digital - do you still buy physical?

Had a clear out and found my old shelf of PC games in big boxes. Baldur's Gate, Half Life, Morrowind, all with proper manuals and maps inside.

Nobody buys physical PC games anymore obviously but do you still buy physical for console? Or has everything gone digital for you?

Everything digital for years now. Convenience wins. Plus physical copies for console are often just a disc with a download code anyway, which defeats the purpose.

I still buy physical for Switch games because they actually work offline from the cartridge. For everything else it's Steam and Game Pass.

Those old big box PC games were something special. The Baldur's Gate box with the spiral bound manual was a work of art. We lost something when everything went digital.
