Well, most of us play games as a hobby, we play for fun and relaxation. However, there are also some people who play as a profession. They game money as a gamer by doing a lot of things such as streaming on social media or playing esports. Have you played as a profession, do you have a desire to play as a profession?

I just play for the fun of it and that's it. I have streamed games played for professionals who give more for the game and don't see it as something that I can be able to do.

I play for fun. I don't make a dime from the games I play. Come to think of it, if playing games equate to money, I would probably be a millionaire by now 🤑

I play for fun. But I have a kid brother who wants to pick up gaming as a profession. I am not sure if he is serious or he is just trying to justify his time spent on gaming

If your brother wants to be playing games as a profession, then he's got to be very serious about it because that is the only way that he is going to excel at it even though when I know that the start is not going to be that easy for him.

I've always just played as a hobby or for the fun of it. I've never thought of doing it as a profession because I'm sure I'm not good enough to play professionally.

I tend to play video games at the moment as a hobby and something to do in my spare time as a hobby. I did try to make playing video games and creating video game content a profession for me, but found I was not able to. I would like to try again when I am able to find the time to dedicate.

I've not thought about playing games as a profession. What would you say was the biggest challenge that you had when you went professional in gaming content?

I mostly play as a hobby because it’s fun and relaxing. For example, I enjoy FIFA or Hitman casually without pressure. Playing professionally is a different level, it requires strict practice, discipline, and dealing with stress, which can take away the casual enjoyment of gaming.
