Community game night - would anyone be interested?

Been thinking it would be cool to have a regular game night where members team up or compete in something together. Could tie into the events system on the site. Nothing too serious, just a way to hang out and play. Would anyone actually show up for something like that?

Yeah I'd be down for this. Something low-key, no pressure. Even just picking a game a few people already own and setting a time. Valorant or a survival co-op could work depending on what the overlap is. Let's see who's actually interested first and go from there.

Would be keen depending on timing. Damo might be down for it too if it's not a complete disaster timezone-wise for us in Australia. Survival co-op would be good, something like Valheim or Sons of the Forest where you don't need to know everything going in.

Yeah I'd be in for that, as long as it's not a Tuesday when I've got the kids. Weekend evening works for me. Deep Rock would be my pick for co-op if enough people have it — works fine even if you've never played it before.

I would be in once it is happening on a weekend. I've got shifts that I do weekdays and will surely be tired of getting involved if it is happening on a weekday. So, the weekend is a better timing for it. Deep Rock is a good pick, but I won't mind going for Sons of the Forest instead since it's a game that I've spent a large part of my time playing.

I'd be interested, though coordinating across time zones is the main obstacle. CET puts me six to nine hours ahead of most of the US members, which rules out anything particularly late for me. Worth doing a quick poll to see when the actual overlap is before settling on a game. If the timing works I'll be there.
