Is spending money on mobile games a waste of money?

Most of the mobile games that I've ever played have been for free. I don't like spending money on a mobile game when a whole of them can be gotten for free. Plus, it doesn't give me the same level of excitement when I play games on consoles or PC. Would you mind spending money just to get mobile...

Which game did struggle playing at first, but later got to enjoy?

I know a lot of games might have posed some big challenges on our first attempt, and that might have made any player drop the game for a while. For me, it was No Man's Sky. I struggled to understand stuff at the game when I picked it at first. Later on, after watching some clips on YouTube, I...

Red Dead Redemption 2 - still worth it in 2026?

I've been on three play-throughs and the only time that I tried playing online was on my second attempt of the game. It wasn't worth it and I stopped. So far, its been about the story mode and trust me, that game ranks top 2 of the best open world games that I've ever played.

Have you ever slept off while gaming?

Sarah must have made a joke of the whole scenario, but man, sleeping odd while playing a dark souls series must be tough! Best bet is returning back to the saved part when you wake up because any progress you've made before sleeping off gets wiped off.

Discussion What's one part of Read Dead Redemption 2 made you a fan?

That Sun experience near the flat iron lake is iconic. Sometimes, I stand for a couple of minutes there with my horse staring directly at such a beauty.

Discussion What's your experience being in a toxic gaming server?

It is very difficult finding those who are really bent on just enjoying the game with form of toxicity. Worth it if found, but rare nowadays. Do you have suggestions on where I can get any to join now?

Discussion What game are you playing right now?

Elden Ring is a pretty solid game. I wish you all the best with it. I am thinking of creating time to play Dark Souls 2 next week. Hopefully, we won't have a lot to do at work that period.

Do you still grab games from the offline game shops?

I kinda concur with you that the shops are fading away. Most players now like sitting in the comfort of their homes while logging into their steam account to get the games that they want. A lot has truly changed since, and I can say it is a result of technological advancement.

How much are you willing to spend on a game?

Apart from a few times, I can't remember a time where delaying getting a game was the wrong decision. Capping how much you can spend on a game on £60 is valid. Most of the games that are being released nowadays are not even worth that much if you ask me.

Showcase My modded Skyrim setup - 400 mods, still 60fps

Rudy ENB for Cathedral Weathers. It's the most natural looking one I've found. Some ENBs look amazing in screenshots but oversaturated in actual gameplay.

Showcase My modded Skyrim setup - 400 mods, still 60fps

Finally got my Skyrim modlist to a point where I'm happy with it. Running around 400 mods including full ENB, parallax textures, and custom weather. Stable 60fps at 1440p on an RTX 4070. Key mods: - Lux (lighting overhaul) - Seasons of Skyrim - 3D trees and plants - JK's Skyrim complete -...

Do you still grab games from the offline game shops?

Well, we've not got many offline game shops around here anymore. So, I do most of my purchases online and go to popular online marketplaces when I want to get some physical copies of games. I'm not going to spend longer time seeking where to get games offline. Are you in a similar situation?

How much are you willing to spend on a game?

When it comes to purchasing games that I play, I don't see myself spending more than 90 dollars on any game. No matter the game's quality. I won't mind waiting for a while so the game can go on a black Friday sales instead of spending above 90 bucks for a game.

Discussion What's one part of Read Dead Redemption 2 made you a fan?

Red Dead Redemption 2 still remains an open world game that I can rank in the top 3 of games that I've played in that niche. The attention to detail is a factor that made me like most parts of the game. I've played a couple of times and never regretted getting it six years ago. Which part of the...

Discussion What's your experience being in a toxic gaming server?

I've not had any bad experience lately joining such severs where some members are out to make it quite unbearable for many others. I've been in some in the past and it didn't end well for me.

Discussion What game are you playing right now?

Elden Ring will teach any newbie that needs to affect defeats at the beginning. It can be frustrating for some players, but I would suggest you keep pushing since it's been an entertaining phase for you.

Discussion What determines the success of any game?

Yes! Sustained hype about a game is a big one that many studios don't even think about. How a game is being talked about a year after release could be proof that the game is worth giving a try. It is not selling millions of copies in two weeks. Far from it.
